A New Milestone In Niger

Alkan is proud to be part of an important project for EAMAC (Ecole Africaine de la Météorolgie et de l'Aviation Civile), the African School of Meteorology and Civil based in Niamey.

In cooperation with the global technology leader and project’s prime contractor “Thales France”, Alkan succeeded in providing the supply & installation of the civil works for aviation radar station.

Alkan’s role entailed the performance of  the design, civil works, installation works of radar supporting structure, equipment room and MSSR radar antenna, in addition to a complete rehabilitation of the simulator rooms in respect to quality and HSE regulations.

Alkan Africa’s footprint in the market since 1994 is very prominent which always prove Alkan’s team capabilities in delivering turnkey solutions to major entities where the impact of this particular project will be of higher value and results. We’d like to sincerely thank our team for the hard work and diligence self-motivation under the guidance of Eng. Ahmed El-Khashab, Africa Chief Executive Officer for his tremendous support. Established in 1963, the African School of Meteorology and Civil Aviation (EAMAC) is based in Niamey (Niger), the political and administrative capital of Niger, in the Plateau district. Establishment Public of an administrative nature, EAMAC is one of the three (3) schools of the Agency for the Safety of Air Navigation in Africa and Madagascar (ASECNA) and is placed under the supervision of the Directorate General of the Agency in Dakar.
