Challenge

Burkina’s government was accorded a grant by the World Bank to assure the interconnectivity between Ouagadougou the capital of Burkina Faso and Ghana. Huawei the leading multinational networking, telecommunications and services company that was designated to deliver the project had selected Alkan to execute 50% of the challenging project. Despite, the rough terrain, rocky soil and challenging conditions encountered while trenching required blasting which demanded extreme precision and safety measures, Alkan's team had successfully delivered the peoject on time
