Videoconferencing Network for USAID

Challenge

Business organizations need to maintain secure and reliable communication across their geographically dispersed offices, videoconferencing solutions enable organizations in all business disciplines to hold secure, distance meetings and collaborate with remote colleagues, share information and reach critical decisions quickly as if they were in the same room. Realizing this fact the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) bureau in Egypt, decided to utilize videoconferencing technologies to overcome the geographical barriers and conduct regular face to face meetings with their counterparts in USA

Solution

Design and  deployment of an integrated Videoconferencing solution that enables daily live communication and real time interactivity between USAID's staff in Cairo bureau and their counterparts at the headquarters in Washington D.C. On examining the existing network infrastructure at USAID's Cairo bureau and evaluating the daily need for daily live meetings, three different meeting rooms were fully equipped with Videoconferencing audio/video facilities to support simultaneous meetings; relevant hardware and software components were installed and fully integrated with existing network components. This extraordinary solution efficiently improved productivity, streamlined daily processes and reduced the need to travel
