GIS System for the Central Statistical Office (CSO) – Kuwait
Challenge
In order to reach the desired goal and manage the field census accurately and successfully, the Central Statistical Office (CSO) is planning to take advantage of geographic information systems (GIS) in the management of the general census of housing and buildings, population and establishments for the State of Kuwait. The system serves the three stages of census starting with data preparation, then monitoring the census activities and finally analyzing and publishing the results.
Solution
Our solution is a GIS Enterprise System for census data that aims to spatially empower and enable Central Statistical Office with the capability of visualizing data in an effective way, whilst ensuring efficiency. The scope of work for Central Statistical Office is to cover the desired goals and manage the field census accurately benefiting from Geographic Information System. Our consortium Solution Concept was built to match CSO scope of work using state of the art technology empowering CSO with all the approach dividing the project into three main tasks.
